Comparison of two surface sealants on roughness and color stability a commercially available denture base material. Metallic discs were invested in flask using dental stone to prepare mold space. The polymer monomer mixed ratio 3:1 by volume processed form disc disc-shaped specimen. All the samples finished, polished checked for roughness. Sealants applied material cured light-curing unit. 120 divided into Group I(n=60) – Lucitone 199 Optiglaze, II(n=60) Easy Glaze. specimens further subdivided three groups based solution they immersed i.e, coffee (n=20), tea distilled water (n=20). one week, month, months, four months. Samples optical profilometer colour change spectrophotometer. all was within normal range tea-stained higher compared stability. study concluded that Optiglaze is better sealant Glaze with properties like less good materials. had than plaque accumulation threshold (0.20 µm). Beverages affected materials after application different sealants.
